93. What is your lucky number, and why is it so lucky?

I have two lucky numbers, 3 and 87 both are jersey numbers to my two favorite hockey players. Number 3 is my favorite college hockey player's number and 87 is of course Sidney Crosby's number. My very first NHL game I watched was the Winter Classic between Pittsburgh and Buffalo. Crosby wears 87 because he was born on August 7, 1987 and I was born on August 7, 1993. It's a special number to me for that reason. Even though college hockey players don't get to choose what number they wear, number 3 is still a lucky number for me.  I've gotten to know the player who wears it a tiny bit and always watch him when he is out on the ice. Once he goes pro I will for sure keep tabs on him and his new jersey number.

I do believe in luck just like I believe in fate and when I find a four leaf clover I try to keep it intact or put it in one of my frisbee cleat when I play so I'll have a good game.

54. What effect does music have on you?

Music has a huge effect on me in so many ways. Whatever mood I am in I always find a song or songs to fit my mood. When I'm happy I will listen to a lot of rock, pop or U93 the local radio station that plays the top hits. When I'm sad I listen to a lot of John Mayer, Maroon 5, or a mix of sad songs that I have. When I'm angry I listen to a lot of loud music. On my way to Ultimate Frisbee I listen to a mix I made of songs to get me pumped up for the games that night. My life has been a bit rough in the last few months so there are a lot of songs that I can't listen to because they remind me of what has happened or they remind me of people. When I'm driving my convertible I love to turn the music up and just drive not having a care in the world if people stare at me. To me, driving and listening to loud music is like therapy and I can forget about a lot of stuff.  I've never been one for country music but I love Knee Deep by Zac Brown Band and I Want Crazy by Hunter Hays. Knee Deep is one of those songs that make me feel better and I don't have to have a care in the world sometimes.

Right now I've been listening to both Mumford & Sons albums, The 20/20 Experience by Justin Timberlake, Pompeii by Bastille, Say Something by A Great Big World, and my two favorite songs Love Don't Die by The Fray and How I Feel by Flo Rida.

I start Ultimate Frisbee this week so my pump up mix will be playing a lot.
Here is the mix:
Throwdown- Pillar
Smack Down- Thousand Foot Krutch
Bleed It Out- Linkin Park
Play Hard- David Guetta
Let It Rock- Kevin Rudolf
Remember the Name- Fort Minor
Not Afraid- Eminem
For The Love of The Game- Pillar
Headstrong- Trapt
Someday- Flipsyde
Light Up the Sky- Thousand Foot Krutch
The Pretender- Foo Fighters (my favorite song)
Eye of The Tiger- Survivor
Fire It Up- TFK
Not Without A Fight- Pillar
Know Your Enemy- Green Day

Music means a lot to me and it has the ability to get me through almost everything.
